- • Be the first voice our residential customers hear when their home services—video, phone, or internet—hit a snag. As a Home Services Advocate I, you own every interaction from the first “Hello” to the final “Thank you,” turning frustration into loyalty and one-time callers into lifelong C Spire fans.
- • Resolve billing mysteries, equipment hiccups, and service interruptions with a disciplined, detail-obsessed mindset. You’ll juggle call-handle time, first-call resolution, and customer-satisfaction targets without ever letting the human on the other end feel like a metric.
- • Master our digital-first tool set: CRMs, handheld diagnostics, video-component simulators, and cloud-based knowledge bases. You’ll toggle between platforms mid-call, entering flawless notes while translating “blinking red light” into plain-English next steps.
- • Troubleshoot like a tech whisperer—whether it’s a misbehaving set-top box, a router that refuses to route, or a landline that’s gone silent. When the fix is beyond a remote reset, you’ll schedule a field tech with surgical precision, ensuring the customer knows exactly who is coming, when, and why.
- • Keep your finger on the pulse of C Spire’s ever-evolving product suite and competitor moves. You’ll be the walking, talking comparison chart who can explain why our fiber is faster, our channel lineup richer, and our pricing smarter.
- • Protect company assets by spotting fraud patterns and unnecessary risk before they become expensive problems. Your sharp eye saves dollars and safeguards customer trust.
- • Collaborate across teams—network ops, field services, billing, and sales—to weave a seamless support fabric. Your Slack pings and escalation notes are crisp, actionable, and always on time.
- • Embrace continuous learning through tailored learning paths, micro-courses, and lunch-and-learns. From IPv6 basics to the latest streaming-app updates, you’ll be the teammate everyone taps for “How do I…?”

🎯 Requirements
- • High-school diploma or recognized equivalent
- • 2+ years of customer service or general business experience
- • Strong communication, reading, spelling, and typing skills
- • High comfort level with technology-based solutions and products
- • Preferred: 4-year college degree or troubleshooting/telecommunications experience
