Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • Drive market-leading growth for Azurity’s hospital-focused portfolio across the Gulf Coast territory (TX, LA, MS, AL, FL Panhandle). You will own the full sales cycle—from strategic account planning to closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals—within IDNs, large health-systems, academic medical centers, and specialty pharmacies.
- • Build and nurture C-suite, Pharmacy, Therapeutics Committee, and key prescriber relationships to secure product access, pull-through, and long-term formulary positioning. Your consultative approach will translate clinical evidence into measurable patient-outcome and cost-saving stories that resonate with pharmacists, intensivists, cardiologists, neurologists, and endocrinologists.
- • Deliver quarterly and annual revenue targets by orchestrating cross-functional teams (Medical Affairs, Market Access, Trade, and Marketing) to execute high-impact launches, in-service programs, and REMS initiatives. You will analyze market data, hospital buying patterns, and 340B dynamics to prioritize high-value opportunities and reallocate resources in real time.
- • Design and implement innovative pull-through tactics—virtual grand rounds, EMR best-practice alerts, outcomes-based contracts, and patient-support pathway integration—that accelerate adoption and differentiate Azurity in crowded therapeutic areas such as cardiovascular emergencies, refractory epilepsy, and critical-care endocrinology.
- • Serve as the voice of the customer internally, distilling field intelligence into actionable insights that shape forecasting, messaging, and life-cycle management. Your feedback will directly influence pipeline prioritization and next-generation formulation strategies.
- • Ensure flawless execution of all regulatory, legal, and compliance standards (FDA, OIG, PhRMA, state laws). You will maintain meticulous CRM documentation, sample accountability, and adverse-event reporting while modeling Azurity’s culture of integrity and patient-centricity.
- • Mentor and collaborate with inside-sales and market-access colleagues to create a seamless customer experience across inpatient, outpatient, and discharge settings. Your leadership will elevate team performance and expand Azurity’s footprint in underpenetrated geographies.
- • Leverage advanced analytics (IQVIA, Definitive Healthcare, claims data) to craft territory business plans that identify whitespace, predict adoption curves, and quantify ROI for every initiative. You will present quarterly business reviews to senior leadership, showcasing wins, lessons learned, and strategic pivots.
- • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in every customer interaction and internal initiative, ensuring that underserved patient populations gain access to Azurity’s life-changing therapies regardless of socioeconomic barriers.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of hospital or specialty pharmaceutical sales with documented quota achievement in complex IDN/health-system accounts
- • Demonstrated success influencing Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committees and navigating 340B, GPO, and value-based purchasing environments
- • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced clinical or business degree (PharmD, RN, MBA) strongly preferred
- • Ability to travel 50–60% across the Gulf Coast and to national meetings as needed
- • Proficiency in CRM (Veeva/Salesforce), Microsoft 365, and data-analytics platforms
🏖️ Benefits
- • Remote-first flexibility with quarterly in-person collaboration weeks
- • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage starting day one
- • Annual performance bonus plus uncapped commission plan and stock-option grants
- • 20 days PTO, 12 paid holidays, and a paid volunteer day to support causes you care about
