📋 Description

• As an HPC Engineer at Rescale, you will become an expert in the Rescale platform and its application to customer workflows, delivering deep technological solutions and support for some of the company’s most powerful features.
• You will publish, manage, and optimize complex HPC software for demanding customers, develop and implement processes and best practices for HPC services and support, and advocate customer needs internally by collaborating with sales, product, and engineering teams to achieve customer success goals.
• You will work closely with the customer support team to improve customer value realization, drive satisfaction and retention, and identify opportunities for increased productivity through automation and tool implementation.
• You will design and improve processes to consistently meet or exceed customer commitments, enhance deliverable quality, and provide technical support to customers, ISVs, and strategic partners while solving complex software-related problems in HPC environments.
• You will maintain software on the Rescale platform by installing, benchmarking, and optimizing performance for target environments, contributing to faster innovation across industries such as aerospace, energy, life sciences, and manufacturing.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience with HPC systems and HPC applications
• Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems, and scripting languages like Bash and Python
• Interest in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and general awareness of HPC concepts including schedulers, MPI, containers, Kubernetes, and GPU computing
• Basic understanding of at least one CAE discipline (e.g., CFD, FEA, EDA, ML/AI, Molecular Dynamics)
• Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders across IT, engineering, and R&D, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• BS/BA degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
