- • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee and people leader inquiries across all 50 states within a centralized HR service delivery model.
- • Manage end-to-end resolution of employee relations cases including intake, review, resolution, and closure with consistent, timely, and compliant handling.
- • Provide guidance on workplace concerns, policy interpretation, and employee relations matters to ensure alignment with company standards and legal requirements.
- • Partner with people leaders to draft, review, and approve Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and disciplinary actions, ensuring they are objective, legally defensible, and consistently applied.
- • Coach leaders on effective performance management, documentation practices, and communication strategies to support employee success and reduce risk.
- • Review involuntary termination requests to assess legal and operational risk, providing recommendations to ensure decisions are well-supported and defensible.
- • Support leaders in preparing for and delivering termination communications with sensitivity and compliance.
- • Educate associates on leave of absence processes including FMLA, ADA, and company-specific policies, and conduct follow-up to confirm understanding.
- • Partner with COEs and leaders to address situations where associates fail to return from leave or lack required approvals.
- • Facilitate the interactive process for reasonable accommodation requests under the ADA, evaluating needs and identifying appropriate solutions in collaboration with associates and managers.
- • Maintain clear, accurate, and compliant documentation throughout all employee relations, accommodation, and disciplinary processes.
- • Apply strong business acumen to make informed people decisions within operational environments while balancing employee needs and organizational goals.
- • Influence people leaders through policy-aligned guidance and sound judgment in complex performance management and employee relations scenarios.
- • Utilize Microsoft Office applications to manage case documentation, reporting, and communication efficiently.
- • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws including ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and general employee relations practices.
- • Mitigate organizational risk by proactively identifying and addressing potential legal or compliance issues in employee relations and performance management cases.
- • Contribute to a culture of fairness, inclusion, and accountability by upholding the company’s equal employment opportunity principles and promoting respectful workplace practices.
