We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior HR Generalist to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping and supporting our Human Resources function.
- • This is a hands-on, impactful position for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, embraces ambiguity, and possesses the unique ability to develop and implement HR processes concurrently. You will be intimately involved in the daily employee experience, acting as a key partner to managers across various departments, and ensuring our people operations are seamlessly aligned with our rapid business growth.
- • Your core responsibilities will encompass owning and executing essential HR operations. This includes managing the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes for employees across our diverse engineering, hardware, operations, and go-to-market teams, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every team member. You will also be responsible for maintaining administrative access to our core HR systems and managing user access, ensuring data integrity and security.
- • A critical aspect of this role involves maintaining meticulously clean and accurate employee records across our HRIS, payroll, and benefits systems. You will also be tasked with the accurate and timely processing of hourly employee timecards, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Furthermore, you will be the first point of contact for addressing employee issues as they arise, responding with care, urgency, and practical, effective problem-solving.
- • In the realm of Leave Management & Compliance, you will serve as the primary liaison between employees and our leave management platform, diligently monitoring ongoing leave cases. You will be the go-to resource for both employees and managers, providing clear guidance on leave eligibility, timing, and pay-related queries. This involves close coordination with our benefits providers and external partners, such as Justworks, to ensure seamless administration.
- • A key responsibility will be to stay abreast of multi-state employment laws and regulations, proactively adapting our HR processes to meet evolving requirements and ensure ongoing compliance. You will also provide essential assistance with workers’ compensation claims and related requests, demonstrating a commitment to employee well-being and safety.
- • The role also involves significant contributions to Policy Creation & Process Building. You will be instrumental in developing and maintaining comprehensive HR policies and standard operating procedures that accurately reflect Standard Bots’ unique operating practices and values. A crucial element of this is building lightweight, scalable processes, understanding the delicate balance between necessary structure and the flexibility required in a growing company.
- • As a Manager Partner, you will cultivate strong, trusted relationships with managers across both technical and non-technical teams. You will act as a primary point of contact for employee and manager inquiries at all organizational levels, ensuring timely responses and fostering an environment of trust and collaboration. Your efforts will support the establishment of consistent expectations across teams while respecting and accommodating diverse management styles.
- • In Benefits & HR Systems, you will support the day-to-day administration of benefits programs, including assisting with open enrollment periods. You will contribute to the evaluation, implementation, and ongoing improvement of HR tools and systems as the company scales, ensuring we have the right technology to support our people. You will also serve as a key liaison and triage point for ad-hoc employee benefits inquiries, providing prompt and accurate assistance.
- • Success in this role means ensuring that people operations run smoothly and efficiently, without hindering the company’s momentum. It means managers view HR as a valuable partner and enabler, rather than a bottleneck. Employees will receive timely, clear, and supportive answers to their questions.
