- • As an HR Generalist at Plasmidsaurus LLC, you will serve as the operational backbone for people systems, ensuring seamless employee experiences across domestic and international locations while supporting the company’s mission to accelerate scientific discovery through innovative genomics services.
- • Day to day, you will own Rippling end-to-end for payroll, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, and automations; manage multi-state and international payroll; ensure compliance with US state and international regulations; coordinate visa and immigration processes; administer benefits including open enrollment; manage employment documentation for FTEs, contractors, and international workers; and deliver a tight onboarding experience across the full employee lifecycle.
- • Plasmidsaurus is a fast-growing biotech company revolutionizing plasmid and RNA sequencing to make genomic data faster, simpler, and more affordable for scientists worldwide, serving Nobel laureates, Fortune 100 pharma, and over 70,000 researchers.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in HR systems automation, global compliance, and immigration coordination while gaining visibility into scaling startup operations and contributing directly to a mission-driven team advancing biotech innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years in HR, People Ops, or a similar role, ideally at a scaling startup
- • Expert-level Rippling experience — you've helped own it, not just used it
- • Multi-state payroll and compliance experience; California is a strong plus
- • Experience coordinating visa and immigration cases with outside counsel
- • Comfort navigating international entities and varied employment models
- • Ashby experience is a plus
