- • Provide daily legal support to the HR Operations team on matters related to hiring, onboarding, immigration processes, employment relationships, performance management, and offboarding.
- • Review, draft, and revise HR-related legal documentation including employment contracts, contract amendments, termination agreements, and other personnel-related legal instruments.
- • Lead legal discussions and negotiations with employees, employee representatives, or external parties where legal implications arise.
- • Collaborate closely with the VP of HR to manage collective labor relations, including interactions with employee representatives and works councils.
- • Ensure all HR practices and documentation comply with French labor law and applicable international regulations for global employees.
- • Advise HR teams on legal risks and compliance obligations in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving workforce structures.
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor law developments in France and jurisdictions where Voodoo operates.
- • Act as the primary legal point of contact for HR on all employment-related legal matters, providing timely and pragmatic guidance.
- • Support the scaling of HR processes while maintaining legal integrity across a workforce of over 800 employees across multiple countries.
- • Translate complex legal requirements into clear, actionable advice for non-legal HR stakeholders.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures to align with legal standards and organizational growth.
- • Participate in cross-functional initiatives with Legal, M&A, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on employment-related legal matters during corporate transactions.
- • Handle sensitive employee matters with discretion, professionalism, and adherence to confidentiality protocols.
- • Prepare and present legal summaries or training materials to HR teams on key labor law updates or compliance obligations.
- • Manage documentation retention and record-keeping for all HR legal files in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- • Respond promptly to urgent legal inquiries from HR, ensuring minimal disruption to hiring and workforce operations.
- • Maintain a proactive approach to identifying potential legal risks before they escalate into compliance issues or disputes.
- • Work within a dynamic, international environment where agility, clarity, and precision in legal advice are critical to business success.
