- • Oversee daily HR operations including employee inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate responses to support a positive employee experience across North America.
- • Administer employee benefits programs, managing enrollment, changes, and resolving inquiries related to health, dental, vision, and other benefits.
- • Coordinate international visas for new hires and employees traveling abroad for work, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations.
- • Lead HR projects with external vendors to deliver high-quality services aligned with company values and employee needs.
- • Ensure legal compliance with U.S. employment laws and mitigate organizational risk through proactive policy adherence and documentation.
- • Maintain and update employee handbooks to reflect current company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires, coordinating HR systems, office setup, contractual documentation, and manager alignment.
- • Formalize and manage all contractual elements throughout the employee lifecycle, including labor contracts, amendments, and termination certificates.
- • Prepare and process payroll for North America employees with precision and timeliness, ensuring accurate compensation and tax compliance.
- • Lead payroll process optimization initiatives, including automation, provider benchmarking, and system improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
- • Design, implement, and refine people-related projects, procedures, and best practices that reinforce company culture and operational excellence.
- • Continuously document, streamline, and improve HR processes to increase accuracy, scalability, and employee satisfaction.
- • Support global expansion by deploying HR infrastructure and benefits administration in new countries within North America and beyond.
- • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and systems, ensuring data integrity across all employee lifecycle stages.
- • Act as a hands-on HR operator with a builder mindset, taking ownership of end-to-end HR functions without reliance on large support teams.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, finance, and operations teams to align HR practices with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- • Demonstrate strong service orientation by proactively addressing employee needs and resolving issues with empathy and efficiency.
- • Utilize HR technology platforms (HRIS, payroll systems) to automate workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve reporting capabilities.
- • Apply analytical skills to identify process gaps, measure HR metrics, and implement data-driven improvements to HR operations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- • 8–15 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment
- • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law, HR policy, and payroll regulations
- • Proven experience managing the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit
- • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems with hands-on experience processing North American payroll
- • Demonstrated ability to lead HR projects, optimize processes, and implement compliance frameworks
