- • As an HR Technology Solutions Analyst at Alcoa Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in the global HR Technology team, ensuring the seamless operation, configuration, and effective utilization of our comprehensive HRIS platforms. This remote position is crucial for bridging the gap between the technical intricacies of HR systems and the practical needs of HR operations, requiring a unique blend of technical acumen and HR functional understanding.
- • You will be responsible for the day-to-day support and administration of key Workday modules, including Core HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Absence, Talent, Learning, Security, Integrations, and Payroll. This involves meticulous attention to detail in managing system configurations, setup values, business processes, and user security access to ensure alignment with established HR policies and operational requirements.
- • A core aspect of your role will be to analyze and maintain the integrity of system configurations, ensuring that setup values and security protocols are consistently up-to-date and functioning in accordance with their related business processes. This proactive approach helps prevent issues and ensures the reliability of our HR systems.
- • You will act as a key consultant, problem-solver, and technical advisor for the design and implementation of system configurations. This involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs, translating those needs into effective system solutions, and ensuring that the configurations support business objectives.
- • This role is instrumental in driving improvement initiatives within the HR technology landscape. You will be expected to identify opportunities for enhancement, understand the business need and value proposition of proposed changes, configure and test new functionalities, and effectively communicate these updates to relevant parties.
- • A significant responsibility will be the creation of technical user guides, comprehensive communication plans, and robust change management strategies. Your efforts will ensure that new processes and system capabilities are broadly understood by the user base and successfully implemented across the organization, fostering user adoption and maximizing the value of our HR technology investments.
- • You will provide essential support for future global HR system releases and implementations. This includes participating in project teams, assisting with testing, and contributing to the successful rollout of new features and modules, ensuring Alcoa remains at the forefront of HR technology.
- • The position requires a deep understanding of Workday's architecture, including Business Processes, Security and Accesses, Domains and Policies, as well as Fields and Reporting. This knowledge is essential for effective configuration, troubleshooting, and strategic system development.
- • You will collaborate closely with HR functions to understand their operational challenges and requirements, translating these into system-based solutions. This partnership ensures that our HR technology effectively supports the diverse needs of our global workforce.

🎯 Requirements
- • Graduate diploma minimum.
- • Advanced English skills.
- • Proven experience supporting Workday system configuration and/or supporting a live Workday system instance, including knowledge of Workday Business Processes, Security and Accesses, Domains and Policies, Fields and Reporting.
- • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office package.
- • Experience with managing projects and implementations.
- • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
