📋 Description

• • As an HRIS Project Manager at Vantage Data Centers, you will be instrumental in shaping and scaling our global People & Culture (P&C) technology ecosystem. This remote US-based role reports to the Senior Director of People Operations and is crucial for optimizing our HR systems to meet evolving organizational needs and ambitious project goals.
• • You will own the entire lifecycle of People systems projects, from initial planning and execution through to successful delivery. This includes managing system upgrades, new implementations, ongoing optimizations, and complex integrations, ensuring seamless collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
• • A key responsibility will be defining the precise scope, meticulous timelines, critical milestones, potential risks, interdependencies, and measurable success criteria for each project. Your proactive approach will involve identifying, analyzing, and adeptly resolving any issues that arise, such as scope creep, resource constraints, or technical bugs, ensuring projects remain on track and within defined parameters.
• • You will be a vital partner to Workday module owners and the broader P&C team, actively seeking out workflow inefficiencies and spearheading the development and implementation of automated solutions. This focus on optimization will drive greater productivity and effectiveness across the department.
• • A significant part of your role will involve developing and maturing the project management function within the P&C team. This includes establishing standardized procedures, creating comprehensive project guidelines, and championing best practices in project management, such as leading effective Lessons Learned Sessions to foster continuous improvement.
• • You will serve as the primary liaison between the People Systems team and all internal and external stakeholders. This involves providing regular, clear updates, managing expectations effectively, and ensuring alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
• • Leading internal project team calls will be a regular duty, requiring you to identify, prioritize, and escalate issues as needed across multiple workstreams, ensuring smooth communication and rapid problem-solving.
• • To facilitate the successful adoption of new systems and processes, you will develop comprehensive training materials and strategic communication plans. This ensures that end-users are well-equipped and informed, maximizing the benefits of system enhancements.
• • You will be responsible for providing detailed status updates, maintaining thorough project documentation, and conducting post-project knowledge transfer sessions to embed learning and best practices within the team.
• • Establishing and maintaining robust People systems project governance frameworks is essential. This includes defining documentation standards, managing decision logs, and implementing effective risk management processes to ensure project integrity and predictability.
• • You will play a key role in leading road mapping activities and strategic planning for the People systems team, contributing to the long-term vision and technological advancement of HR systems at Vantage.
• • This role requires a strong understanding of P&C data structures, system architecture, and reporting analytics, enabling you to translate complex business needs into actionable technical requirements and communicate these effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
