- • Support and promote a safe working environment across Northern Ireland by ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation and industry best practices.
- • Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing health and safety policies, procedures, and documentation to meet legislative requirements.
- • Provide expert advice and practical support to managers and employees on health and safety matters, including emergency procedures and safe work practices.
- • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments across assessment centres in Northern Ireland to identify hazards and recommend effective control measures.
- • Assist in the development and delivery of health and safety training programs, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns to foster a proactive safety culture.
- • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, senior managers, and supply chain partners to build positive relationships and drive a proactive approach to health and safety.
- • Participate in health and safety meetings, committees, and working groups, representing the organisation’s safety interests and contributing to continuous improvement.
- • Undertake internal audits of the health and safety management system and ensure corrective actions are completed by relevant stakeholders.
- • Prepare health and safety reports and presentations for management and regulatory authorities as required.
- • Perform other HSE-related tasks as directed by the HSE Lead or Business Unit leadership.
- • Travel throughout Northern Ireland to conduct assessments and site visits at various locations.
- • Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office to support reporting, documentation, and communication tasks.
🎯 Requirements
- • Knowledge and implementation of HSE legislation in Northern Ireland and Great Britain
- • NEBOSH General Certificate
- • Experience conducting audits, compliance checks, and risk assessments
- • Strong communication and influencing skills
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
