- • As a Human Resource Assistant for the EMEA region at Billups LLC, you will play a vital role in supporting HR operations across multiple countries, ensuring smooth onboarding, accurate record-keeping, and a positive employee experience in a fast-paced, international environment.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing probationary periods and contract renewals in Deel, maintaining HR databases and employee records in compliance with local EMEA laws, assisting with visa and relocation processes, updating regional Employee Handbooks, supporting benefits enrollment, tracking vacation balances, and serving as the first point of contact for administrative HR inquiries.
- • You will be part of a collaborative People Operations team, reporting directly to the EMEA HR Director in the Netherlands and working closely with the Payroll & Benefits Manager in Spain and the broader US-based People Ops team, where your initiative and ideas are valued and encouraged.
- • In this role, you will gain hands-on experience across the full HR lifecycle—from onboarding and offboarding to employee engagement, compliance, and HR reporting—while developing expertise in EMEA-specific employment laws, HRIS systems (particularly Deel), and cross-cultural HR operations in a remote-first, global organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience in human resources, preferably in a fast-paced, international environment
- • Hands-on experience with HRIS systems for managing employee records and generating reports
- • Experience using various applications including database, spreadsheet, report writing, project management, graphics, word processing, presentation creation/editing, email communication and CRM software
- • Willingness to learn all the ins and out employment laws and regulations in the EMEA region
- • Exposure to multiple HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, compliance, payroll and benefits administration
