- • The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) at Serve Robotics serves as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, developing and leading people strategy for assigned business groups to enhance organizational performance, foster inclusivity, and drive high performance in a fast-growing tech startup environment.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include acting as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, establishing and enforcing HR policies in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, reviewing organizational design challenges, executing performance management systems, driving HR technology adoption, leveraging HR data and metrics to inform strategy, partnering with Learning & Organizational Development on leadership coaching, conducting employee relations investigations, and executing cyclical HR initiatives such as performance reviews, talent calibrations, and compensation planning.
- • Serve Robotics is a team of tech industry veterans in software, hardware, and design who are building sidewalk delivery robots to revolutionize urban logistics, with operations in Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, Atlanta, and Chicago, and a culture rooted in agility, diversity, collaboration, and solving real-world problems through robotics, machine learning, and computer vision.
- • In this role, the HRBP will develop expertise in scaling HR functions in hyper-growth environments, gain deep experience influencing leaders at all levels, strengthen knowledge of California and federal employment law, and lead innovative people strategies that support the company’s mission to make robotic deliveries efficient and ubiquitous.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Design/Development, or equivalent experience.
- • 3-5+ years of HRBP experience with a proven track record in transforming people strategies and practices.
- • 1-2 years of experience scaling HR functions in a hyper-growth environment, preferably within a tech startup.
- • In-depth knowledge of federal and California employment law and HR best practices.
- • Demonstrated ability to influence and develop leaders at all levels of the organization.
- • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities and a people-first, action-oriented mindset.
