  • • Straub Collaborative, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and detail-driven Human Resources Generalist to become an integral part of our operational backbone. This pivotal role is designed for an individual who thrives on ensuring the accuracy, continuity, and strict compliance of core HR processes across a complex, multi-state organization. As the primary operational support within our Human Resources function, you will work in close partnership with the Director of HR, taking ownership of the day-to-day execution of critical HR functions. This is not an entry-level position; it demands a proven track record of independently managing essential HR operations with precision and efficiency.
  • • **HR Operations & Administration:** You will be instrumental in the meticulous administration of payroll and benefits. This includes processing changes, conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance, and proactively resolving any issues that may arise. A significant part of your role will involve executing HRIS transactions with unwavering accuracy, ensuring that all employee data is meticulously maintained and up-to-date. You will serve as the primary point of contact for routine HR inquiries, providing clear, concise, and accurate information to employees and management. Furthermore, you will conduct regular audits of HR records and processes to guarantee compliance with all relevant regulations and maintain the integrity of our data.
  • • **Recruitment & Onboarding:** This role plays a key part in the recruitment lifecycle. You will manage the logistical aspects of recruitment, from the initial posting of job openings to coordinating the offer process. This involves scheduling interviews, facilitating communication between candidates and hiring managers, and ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience. A critical responsibility is overseeing the entire onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately, new hires receive comprehensive orientation, and their system access and setup are handled efficiently. This ensures new team members are integrated smoothly and productively.
  • • **Employee Lifecycle Management:** You will manage and coordinate all aspects of the employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on offboarding and termination processes. This includes ensuring all exit procedures are handled with sensitivity, compliance, and efficiency. Maintaining accurate and organized personnel records, both physical and digital, is paramount. You will also be responsible for processing and tracking employee status changes, such as promotions, transfers, and leaves of absence, ensuring all documentation and system updates are handled correctly.
  • • **Compliance & Claims Administration:** A core function of this role is the diligent administration of unemployment claims. You will be responsible for responding to claims promptly and accurately, maintaining detailed records, and tracking the status of all claims. Ensuring strict confidentiality and adherence to all regulatory compliance requirements is non-negotiable. This involves staying abreast of labor laws and regulations across all states in which we operate and implementing processes to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • • **Strategic Partnership:** While focused on operational execution, you will also contribute to the strategic goals of the HR department by identifying areas for process improvement and efficiency gains. Your insights from day-to-day operations will be invaluable in refining our HR practices and policies. You will act as a trusted resource for employees and managers, fostering a positive and supportive work environment through reliable HR support.
  • • **Organizational Impact:** By ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of core HR functions, you will directly contribute to the smooth operation of Straub Collaborative, Inc. Your work will enable the company to focus on its core mission, knowing that its most valuable asset – its people – are managed with precision, integrity, and care. This role is essential for maintaining our operational excellence and supporting our growth across multiple states.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3-5 years of HR experience in a generalist or operational role, with a strong emphasis on core HR functions.
  • • Proven experience supporting complex multi-state workforces, demonstrating an understanding of varying regulations.
  • • Solid knowledge of payroll administration, benefits administration, recruitment coordination, and general HR operations.
  • • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage tasks within established processes and guidelines.
  • • Professional, calm, and collaborative communication style, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • • Proficiency with HRIS and ATS platforms; experience with Paylocity or similar systems is highly preferred.
  • • Experience in fast-paced environments such as production, creative agencies, or warehouse operations is a plus.
  • • HR certification (SHRM-CP or PHR) is a desirable qualification.
