Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous refinement of individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans for children and adolescents on the autism spectrum, ensuring every program is evidence-based, family-centered, and tailored to each learner’s unique strengths and goals.
- • Split your week strategically: enjoy the autonomy and focus of 50 % remote work—reviewing data, authoring detailed reports, conducting caregiver tele-training, and collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues via secure video platforms—while dedicating the remaining 50 % to high-impact, in-person sessions in homes, clinics, or community settings across your assigned territory.
- • Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs), skills assessments (e.g., VB-MAPP, AFLS, PEAK), and preference assessments, translating findings into measurable, socially significant objectives that accelerate communication, social, adaptive, and academic outcomes.
- • Provide real-time coaching and feedback to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and behavior technicians during in-person visits, modeling best-practice prompting, reinforcement, and error-correction procedures to elevate treatment fidelity and client progress.
- • Partner closely with parents and caregivers, delivering culturally responsive training that empowers families to implement strategies confidently across naturally occurring routines—mealtimes, playdates, grocery trips—thereby generalizing gains beyond therapy hours.
- • Leverage Centria’s proprietary digital platform to document session notes, graph behavior data, and monitor mastery trends in real time; use these analytics to pivot protocols quickly, celebrate milestones, and proactively troubleshoot barriers to success.
- • Participate in weekly interdisciplinary case review meetings—sometimes virtual, sometimes on-site—where you will present data, solicit peer consultation, and contribute to organization-wide quality-improvement initiatives that shape the future of autism services.
- • Ensure strict adherence to BACB ethical guidelines, HIPAA, and state regulatory standards; complete timely recertification, continuing education, and internal compliance audits that safeguard client dignity and privacy.
- • Serve as a clinical mentor to junior BCBAs and RBT candidates, providing structured supervision hours, constructive performance evaluations, and career-path guidance that cultivates the next generation of compassionate, competent behavior analysts.
- • Drive community outreach by attending local resource fairs, school IEP meetings, and stakeholder workshops, positioning Centria as a trusted partner in the broader disability services ecosystem and expanding access to life-changing ABA therapy.
- • Contribute to grant writing, research pilots, and publication opportunities that advance the science of ABA and demonstrate Centria’s commitment to evidence-based innovation.
- • Maintain a manageable caseload intentionally capped to preserve work-life balance, prevent burnout, and ensure you can deliver the high-quality, personalized care that every child deserves.
