This position is crucial for the ongoing technical development and deployment of our robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) program, contributing directly to the security and efficiency of our global health technology initiatives.
  • • You will be instrumental in automating and optimizing both new and existing processes within the IAM framework. This involves identifying inefficiencies and developing innovative solutions to streamline access provisioning, de-provisioning, and review cycles, thereby enhancing operational effectiveness and reducing manual intervention.
  • • Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT security, application development, and business units, to ensure the quality of integration and the successful implementation of joint designs. Your input will be vital in shaping secure and scalable IAM solutions.
  • • Maintaining a current understanding of industry trends, protocols, standards, and associated technologies is a core responsibility. This includes staying abreast of emerging threats, best practices in access control, and advancements in IAM solutions to ensure Centene's security posture remains cutting-edge.
  • • You will be involved in the design, build, implementation, and deployment of high-availability solutions and other critical IAM capabilities. This applies to large-scale, cross-platform projects, demanding a thorough understanding of system architecture and security principles.
  • • Developing and documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs), IAM standards, and comprehensive technical design documentation, such as run-books and repository documents, will be a significant part of your contribution. Clear and accurate documentation is essential for knowledge transfer, operational consistency, and audit compliance.
  • • You will design, install, and configure enhanced security models and other applications critical for Identity Authentication and Authorization. This includes implementing robust controls to manage user identities and their permissions effectively.

  • • You will be responsible for triaging and implementing necessary changes to remediate issues or defects identified within the IAM systems, ensuring minimal disruption to services and maintaining a high level of security.
  • • Identifying opportunities for streamlining processes and increasing overall effectiveness through a commitment to continuous process improvement is expected. This proactive approach will help optimize IAM operations and enhance user experience.
  • • You will contribute to the design of applications, focusing on code, functionality, and seamless interoperability with other systems and applications. This ensures that IAM solutions are integrated effectively into the broader technology ecosystem.
  • • Developing detailed technical requirements and designs specifically for Identity and Access Management (IAM), incorporating industry best practices for access management, will be a core function. This ensures that solutions are robust, secure, and aligned with organizational objectives.
  • • Performing other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute to the broader team's success.
