- • As an IAM Automation Engineer - Access Provisioning at WEX Inc., you will play a critical role in transforming identity and access management through automation, RBAC development, and self-service solutions, directly supporting the company’s growing security and operational needs.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing automated workflows for user lifecycle management (joiner-mover-leaver), developing scripts using PowerShell, Python, and APIs to integrate HR systems, Active Directory, and cloud platforms like Okta and Azure AD, analyzing manual processes for automation opportunities, and building least-privilege RBAC models.
- • You will collaborate with business units, application owners, and IT stakeholders to define access requirements, maintain and recertify roles, support audit readiness with automated reporting, and explore AI/ML applications for anomaly detection and predictive access reviews.
- • The IAM team at WEX is evolving to meet the demands of a dynamic business, offering you the opportunity to contribute to a secure, scalable identity ecosystem while working with modern tools and practices in a remote-friendly environment.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise IAM platforms (SailPoint IIQ, Okta, Azure AD), automation engineering, API integrations, and identity governance, while gaining exposure to emerging AI/ML applications in cybersecurity and positioning yourself as a trusted advisor on IAM best practices across the organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- • Proven experience as an IAM Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on automation and integration.
- • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Ansible, and/or Python for automation and API interaction.
- • Experience with enterprise-level IAM solutions (e.g., SailPoint IIQ, Okta Identity Cloud, Azure AD Identity Governance).
- • Solid understanding of Active Directory, LDAP, and enterprise identity stores.
- • Demonstrated experience with RESTful APIs for integration purposes.
