  • • The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer II is a critical role within OU Medicine’s IT Information Security team, responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing IAM solutions to secure user access, privileged accounts, and system entitlements across healthcare infrastructure.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include deploying and managing SSO, MFA, and PAM systems; resolving complex IAM tickets; conducting access reviews and audits; mentoring junior engineers; participating in strategic IAM projects; providing 24x7 on-call support; and ensuring compliance with healthcare security standards such as HIPAA, HITECH, NIST, and HITRUST.
  • • The role operates within OU Medicine’s IT Information Security department, a mission-driven team focused on protecting sensitive patient and employee data in a healthcare environment, supporting OU Health’s commitment to security, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • • The engineer will deepen expertise in enterprise IAM architectures, gain hands-on experience with leading platforms like SailPoint, CyberArk, and Microsoft Azure AD, develop leadership and mentoring capabilities, and contribute to strategic security initiatives that directly impact organizational risk posture and compliance readiness.
