📋 Description

• As an Implementation Engineer at Tailscale, you are the primary architect of a customer’s first experience with the product, ensuring they achieve Time To Value (TTV) in under 30 days by guiding them through technical onboarding and setup.
• Day to day, you will own the end-to-end technical onboarding journey for high-volume accounts, provide hands-on guidance for IdP integration, Tailnet administration, ACL policy definition, and MDM deployments, partner with AEs and SEs to transition pre-sales requirements into active usage, maintain data hygiene in SFDC and CSP tools, and facilitate handoffs to Support and Post-sales teams after adoption milestones are met.
• Tailscale is building the new Internet by making secure interconnection of people and devices easy and safe, serving hobbyists to multinational corporations. Founded in 2019 and fully distributed, the company is backed by Accel, CRV, Insight, Heavybit, and Uncork Capital, with a mission to create an easy, sensible, and safe Internet.
• In this role, you will develop deep expertise in networking, identity management, and enterprise software deployment while acting as a critical feedback loop for Product and Engineering teams, refining onboarding success metrics, and growing your technical and customer-facing skills in a high-impact, remote-first environment.
