  • • Join Neara Inc. as an Implementation Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of global energy infrastructure resilience. At Neara, we are pioneering the use of advanced machine learning to construct physics-enabled digital twins of electricity grids. These sophisticated models allow asset owners to thoroughly understand their most significant challenges and implement the most effective solutions across vast networks spanning millions of kilometers of critical infrastructure.
  • • Our innovative approach enables the simulation of extreme weather events and structural stresses at a network-wide scale. This empowers the world's largest utility companies to proactively identify risks, strategically optimize their investments, and contribute to building a more robust and sustainable global energy future. We are a collective of exceptionally bright individuals who are deeply committed to making a tangible, positive impact on the real world. We leverage the power of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to accelerate every facet of our work, from the intricate classification of data to the complex analysis of various operational scenarios.
  • • We have cultivated a unique and dynamic culture where innovation is not just encouraged but thrives, driven by a shared sense of ownership over our mission. To help us expand this profound impact to every corner of the globe, we are seeking intelligent and creative individuals to join our growing team.
  • • As an Implementation Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to transform raw utility and geospatial data into highly accurate digital twin models of electricity networks. This involves working extensively with GIS, LiDAR, and various asset data sets. You will be instrumental in configuring these models using Neara’s proprietary schema language, ensuring that the resulting digital twins meet stringent engineering-grade accuracy standards. You will become an integral part of our Deployment Team, a group dedicated to successfully delivering the Neara platform to utility customers across the globe.
  • • Your contributions will be crucial to the end-to-end deployment lifecycle of the Neara platform, ensuring seamless integration and successful adoption by our utility clients worldwide. You will be tasked with ingesting and meticulously manipulating massive datasets, including LiDAR, GIS, and diverse asset databases, utilizing Neara’s powerful schema language and flexible configuration framework. This role demands a keen eye for detail and a systematic approach to data handling.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will involve performing rigorous Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures. This is essential to guarantee that the digital twin accurately represents real-world physics and adheres precisely to customer specifications. Your diligence in this area will directly impact the reliability and accuracy of the insights derived from our platform.
  • • Furthermore, you will be responsible for building custom reports and intuitive dashboards within the Neara platform. These tools will be designed to provide actionable insights, enabling utility engineers to make informed decisions and optimize their operations. Your ability to translate complex data into clear, understandable visualizations will be highly valued.
  • • Collaboration is key to our success. You will work in close partnership with our Product and Engineering teams, providing invaluable feedback on existing processes and suggesting improvements for our tools. Your insights will directly contribute to enhancing the efficiency and speed of future deployments, helping us to scale our operations more effectively.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of a rapidly growing company, working with cutting-edge technology that addresses critical global challenges. You will gain deep expertise in our unique engineering-grade 3D modeling environment and gain exposure to the forefront of Digital Twin technology, a field with immense potential for growth and innovation.
