📋 Description

• As an Implementation Manager for the Spend Team at Airwallex, you will own the end-to-end delivery of complex Spend and corporate card implementations for enterprise and high-growth customers across EMEA, turning business requirements into actionable plans and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
• You will act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and internal teams, shaping integration approaches, translating requirements into scalable architectures, and troubleshooting integration hurdles with a focus on robust, maintainable solutions rather than direct coding.
• You will collaborate closely with Sales, Merchant Services, Solutions Engineering, Product, Operations, Risk, and external partners (e.g., networks, processors) to orchestrate seamless delivery from pre-sale through go-live and early spend activation.
• You will create and maintain internal documentation, playbooks, and lightweight tooling to scale integration support, and channel customer feedback into Product and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities.
• Based in Amsterdam (3 days in office), you will join a global team of over 2,000 innovators at a US$8-valued company backed by Tier-1 investors, working on mission-critical financial infrastructure used by global leaders like Brex, Rippling, and SHEIN.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in implementation, onboarding, customer success, or project/program management managing complex, multi-stakeholder technology or financial services implementations.
• 4+ years of client-facing delivery or professional services experience in high-paced environments such as SaaS, fintech, consulting, or enterprise systems integration.
• Proven track record of delivering cross-functional projects with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, including C-level executives, technical teams, and operations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including ability to lead steering meetings, write clear status updates, and influence decisions without direct authority.
• Experience delivering ERP, accounting system, or expense platform implementations (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Xero) and associated data flows (GL, cost centres, entities, card feeds).
