- • Lead end-to-end implementation of Optro’s audit, risk, ESG, and InfoSec platform from sales handoff to system go-live for customers including 7 of the Fortune 10.
- • Develop deep product expertise to guide customers through each phase of the implementation lifecycle, including kickoff, design, configuration, user acceptance testing, and operationalization.
- • Gather, interpret, and translate customer requirements related to compliance workflows, cybersecurity controls, risk assessments, evidence collection, and issue management into configurable Optro solutions.
- • Serve as primary project manager for small, medium, and large-scale implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery of all project deliverables and adherence to defined milestones.
- • Advise clients on industry best practices for implementing compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI, and HIPAA within Optro’s platform.
- • Maintain accurate project status updates and coordinate internal resources alongside client stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution.
- • Build trusted advisory relationships with customers at all organizational levels using diplomatic communication, influence, and negotiation skills.
- • Act as a consultative partner to help clients clarify complex objectives, ask targeted questions, and translate business needs into practical technical configurations.
- • Manage multiple client implementations simultaneously with strong organizational and time management skills under limited supervision.
- • Utilize intermediate to expert Excel skills to support data analysis, reporting, and documentation throughout the implementation process.
- • Ensure all implementations align with Optro’s core values of customer obsession, gritty resilience, drive for innovation, win-together culture, and growth mindset.
- • Communicate effectively across phone, email, and online platforms with clarity, professionalism, and patience to maintain strong client relationships.
- • Adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving SaaS environment requiring constant learning and responsiveness to changing client and product demands.
- • Work remotely across the United States with full autonomy to manage workload and prioritize tasks independently.
- • Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure smooth transitions and feedback loops between customer needs and product capabilities.
- • Contribute to continuous improvement of implementation methodologies by sharing insights from client engagements and identifying opportunities for standardization and efficiency.
- • Support client success by ensuring systems are fully operationalized and customers achieve tangible value from Optro’s platform post-go-live.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in IT compliance, cybersecurity, IT audit, internal audit, external audit, risk management, or GRC with direct involvement in implementing, configuring, or rolling out audit, risk, compliance, or cybersecurity systems
- • Experience with compliance frameworks or security standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI, HIPAA, or similar frameworks
- • Strong consultative skills with ability to guide customers through complex requirements, clarify objectives, and translate needs into implementation decisions
- • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with emphasis on phone, email, and online communications
- • Intermediate to expert Excel skills
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field
