  • • As an IMS Core Engineer at Oxio Technologies Inc., you will play a critical role in maintaining and evolving the company’s IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) and VoLTE infrastructure, ensuring reliable, high-quality mobile communications services for customers across 2.5G, 3G, and 4G networks.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing IMS network nodes, monitoring system performance via dashboards, conducting Wireshark-based trace analysis, troubleshooting faults, implementing configuration changes, supporting emergency response, and participating in 7x24 on-call shifts to ensure service continuity.
  • • You will join a specialized mobile core team focused on the evolution and stability of telecom infrastructure, working closely with internal teams and third-party providers to uphold communication procedures and drive continuous improvement in IMS service delivery.
  • • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in IMS architecture, protocol signaling (SIP, Diameter, SS7), and 3GPP standards, while gaining hands-on experience with core network nodes (HSS, CSCF, MTAS, etc.) and contributing to service upgrades, expansions, and security audits that shape the legacy of Oxio’s mobile network offerings.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum 10 years of experience in mobile core network domains, specifically with IMS/VoLTE infrastructure and related telecom technologies.
  • • BSc degree in Telecommunications or Computer Science; post-graduate studies considered a bonus.
  • • Proven hands-on experience with IMS network nodes including P-CSCF, I-CSCF, S-CSCF, HSS, MTAS, CUDB, MGCF, and CSFB, as well as configuration, troubleshooting, and integration of these elements.
  • • Strong working knowledge of key telecom protocols: SIP, H.248, Diameter, SS7, ISUP, BICC, and their application in IMS-based services.
  • • Proficiency with Linux/Unix systems, Wireshark, and other packet analysis tools for deep troubleshooting and trace analysis.
  • • Solid understanding of 3GPP, ITU-T, and ANSI standards, including roaming agreements and IR.21/IREG testing procedures.
  • • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with ability to produce clear documentation and reports.
  • • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and participate in morning/afternoon shifts and on-call support rotations.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Opportunity to work remotely with a flexible schedule, supporting work-life balance while contributing to critical telecom infrastructure.
  • • Engagement with cutting-edge IMS and VoLTE technologies in a evolving mobile network environment.
  • • Exposure to end-to-end service implementation, from configuration to verification, across multiple core network nodes and protocols.
  • • Professional growth through involvement in system upgrades, expansions, fault management, and security audits in a live production environment.
  • • Collaborative team culture focused on technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement in network operations.
  • • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, with Oxio fostering a workplace where all employees are valued and empowered regardless of background.
