- • Serve as the primary business owner for independent restaurants, retailers, and grocers in the Midlands region, collaborating with site and midmarket account managers to drive performance improvements.
- • Conduct comprehensive business reviews with partners to assess performance, identify growth opportunities, and deliver tailored coaching to enhance their self-service capabilities on the Deliveroo platform.
- • Proactively re-engage with offline partners to diagnose and resolve operational or commercial issues, restoring their presence on the platform and maximizing marketplace participation.
- • Act as the subject matter expert on independent account growth strategies, providing guidance and upskilling to the wider Account Management team to elevate overall team effectiveness.
- • Maintain accurate, detailed records of all partner interactions, meetings, and actions in Salesforce, ensuring clear documentation for seamless handovers and consistent follow-up.
- • Operate primarily in the field across Birmingham and surrounding cities, spending 3–4 days per week visiting partner locations while working 1–2 days per week from the Birmingham office or remotely.
- • Partner closely with the Head of Account Management and City Manager to align regional objectives with broader UK & Ireland commercial goals.
- • Drive commercial outcomes by focusing on core operational basics, increasing partner retention, and expanding product adoption among independent businesses.
- • Leverage deep local market knowledge to tailor approaches to the unique needs of independent partners across diverse urban and suburban environments.
- • Represent Deliveroo as a trusted advisor to restaurant and retail partners, building long-term relationships grounded in mutual growth and platform value.
- • Ensure all activities support Deliveroo’s mission to connect consumers with food and products by making access more convenient and enjoyable for all stakeholders in the marketplace.
- • Maintain a high standard of organization and autonomy, managing a dynamic portfolio of partners with minimal supervision while meeting strict performance targets.
- • Utilize a valid UK driving licence and personal vehicle to travel efficiently between partner locations and the Birmingham office.

- • Proven experience in account/relationship management or a strategic partnerships role
- • Effective relationship-building and communication skills
- • Track record of delivering outstanding commercial results
- • Strong commercial acumen, results and target-oriented
- • Self-starter, hard worker and well organised, enjoys working autonomously and having a mixture of field-based (3-4 days per week) and office/home working (1-2 days per week)
- • Possess a valid UK driving licence and a vehicle
