- • As a Relationship Manager (In-Life Lending) at Allica Bank, you will play a critical role in managing customer relationships post-loan origination, ensuring strong credit oversight throughout the loan lifecycle while supporting the bank’s mission to serve established SMEs—the backbone of the UK economy.
- • Day to day, you will own complex borrower requests such as restructures and security changes, review and triage Early Warning Indicator (EWI) alerts, engage directly with customers to assess needs, collaborate with underwriting and relationship teams on credit decisions, and help build scalable processes and meaningful management information (MI) for ongoing oversight.
- • You will join Allica Bank’s Credit Monitoring Team (CMT), a high-impact function sitting at the heart of the loan book, working across credit, operations, and relationship teams in a fast-growing UK fintech dedicated to underserved SMEs.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in SME/commercial lending and in-life credit risk management, strengthen your stakeholder engagement and judgement skills, and contribute to process improvement and governance as the team scales—building experience that is both technically rigorous and customer-focused.

- • Strong understanding of SME/commercial lending and in-life credit risk monitoring, including interpreting early warning indicators and identifying emerging credit deterioration
- • Customer-focused mindset balanced with risk discipline, able to support customers early while protecting the bank’s position and escalating when required
- • Proven ability to build and embed processes, management information (MI), and ways of working, and to drive continuous improvement across cross-functional stakeholders
