- • The Inbound Contact Representative 1 Intern role supports Humana’s mission to put health first by assisting TRICARE beneficiaries and providers with benefit inquiries, issue resolution, and member education as part of the DOW SkillBridge or Military Spouse Fellowship programs.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include recording member interactions, escalating unresolved grievances, delivering consistent customer service, acting as a customer advocate, prioritizing workloads, and independently solving problems while managing multiple competing priorities in a remote environment.
- • You will join a supportive team at Humana Inc., a leading U.S. healthcare company serving millions through insurance and CenterWell services, with opportunities to collaborate with healthcare, HR, and IT professionals while contributing to business outcomes impacting military families and veterans.
- • This internship offers hands-on experience in federal healthcare operations, customer service excellence, and remote work proficiency, with virtual training, mentorship, and networking opportunities to build skills transferable to civilian careers in healthcare, government contracting, or customer support.
🎯 Requirements
- • Must be a transitioning military service member eligible for DOW SkillBridge or a military spouse eligible for the Military Spouse Fellowship Program
- • U.S. Citizenship required per Department of Defense contract
- • Must obtain and maintain government security clearance via National Background Investigation Services (NBIS)
- • Minimum one year of professional customer service experience
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) and ability to navigate multiple systems while troubleshooting technical issues remotely
