📋 Description

• • As an Incident Responder on the Security Operations team at Interactive Brokers LLC, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the company’s global financial infrastructure by monitoring, detecting, analyzing, and responding to security events and incidents. This hybrid position (3 days in office, 2 days remote) based in Chicago, IL offers the opportunity to develop hands-on expertise in cybersecurity incident handling while contributing to the protection of a leading global electronic brokerage serving clients in over 200 countries.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring security alerts from SIEM, EDR, and other monitoring platforms; assisting in the triage, investigation, and containment of security incidents; collecting and analyzing logs, network data, and endpoint artifacts; documenting incident findings and supporting root cause analysis; escalating complex incidents to senior analysts; and participating in security exercises and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen the organization’s security posture.
