- ⢠As an Incident Response Engineer on Fireblocksâ SRE team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of the platform that secures digital assets for global financial institutions and Web3 companies. You will be part of a distributed, âfollow the sunâ team providing 24/7 incident response coverage, working remotely within US Pacific time to maintain system health and drive continuous improvement.
- ⢠Day to day, you will manage and participate in incident war rooms, escalate and coordinate responses to critical alerts, perform deep-dive troubleshooting of application and infrastructure issues, research blockchain workflows for optimization, identify root causes of incidents, and orchestrate cross-team resolution efforts. You will also improve monitoring and alerting systems, document actions in runbooks, and automate responses using Python, Lambda, shell scripts, ArgoCD, and Ansible.
- ⢠The SRE Incident Response team operates globally to ensure 24/7 coverage, composed of experienced, independent engineers who prioritize production awareness and collaboration. You will work closely with R&D and Support teams to enhance observability, provide guidance on integrations, and communicate incidents to senior management through detailed RCAs and action plans.
- ⢠In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud-native infrastructure, observability tooling, and incident management at scale. You will gain hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure, monitoring platforms like DataDog and Prometheus, and automation frameworksâwhile contributing directly to the reliability of a platform trusted by major banks and blockchain innovators.
