Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • As an Incident Specialist at Skelar AS, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, safety, and trustworthiness of the company’s digital products by managing user-reported incidents from initial investigation to final resolution. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of dispute resolution, protecting user experience, and upholding compliance with regulatory requirements in a fast-paced, global tech environment.
  • • You will independently manage end-to-end incident workflows, including gathering evidence, analyzing user behavior patterns, interviewing stakeholders, and making fact-based, objective decisions—even in complex or emotionally charged cases. Your work will involve acting as a neutral mediator in disputes, proactively identifying potential violations or risky behaviors before they escalate, and ensuring all actions align with internal policies and external regulatory expectations.
  • • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as product, legal, trust & safety, and engineering to escalate trends, recommend process improvements, and contribute to the refinement of internal guidelines and incident response frameworks. Your insights will directly influence product safety, user trust, and operational efficiency.
  • • You will maintain accurate documentation of all incidents using tools like Zendesk and CRM systems, ensuring traceability and audit readiness, while leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau to identify recurring patterns and support strategic decision-making.
  • • You will help reduce repeat incidents by identifying root causes and advocating for systemic improvements, thereby contributing to a safer, more reliable user experience and strengthening the company’s reputation in global markets.
  • • You will join a mission-driven venture builder that launches and scales international tech startups with the discipline of venture capital, where your work supports not only business success but also broader social impact through the SKERAR Foundation, which aids Ukraine’s recovery from war.
  • • You will develop expertise in trust and safety, incident management, regulatory compliance, and data-informed decision-making—skills that are highly transferable across tech, finance, healthcare, and platform-based industries.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Fluency in English at minimum B1 level (intermediate) for effective communication with global teams and users.
  • • Strong analytical skills with the ability to process large volumes of information quickly, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions.
  • • Proven experience in customer experience, support, dispute resolution, or content moderation, demonstrating investigative and problem-solving abilities.
  • • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple concurrent incidents while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
  • • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to mediate disputes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and document findings clearly and objectively.
  • • Familiarity with Zendesk or similar CRM platforms, and basic experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or productivity platforms like Notion is a plus.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Access to internal professional development clubs in areas such as marketing, development, finance, and recruiting to foster cross-skilling and career growth.
  • • Regular training, courses, and opportunities to attend industry conferences to support continuous learning and skill enhancement.
  • • Comprehensive private medical insurance to support employee health and well-being.
  • • Opportunity to contribute to the SKELAR Foundation, a charitable initiative founded by employees to support projects addressing the consequences of war and aiding Ukraine’s recovery.
