- • Serve as an independent non-executive board director providing strategic guidance to Appodeal’s leadership team on building a world-class data and machine learning organization.
- • Contribute expertise in structuring and scaling data science teams that directly drive product decisions, optimization, and revenue growth.
- • Advise on the design and evolution of data platforms, experimentation infrastructure, and real-time decision systems that power Appodeal’s mobile ad monetization ecosystem.
- • Provide perspective on integrating machine learning systems into core business decision processes across advertising infrastructure, DSP, SSP, and mobile game publishing.
- • Help evaluate major technical and infrastructure investments related to data pipelines, automated optimization, and ML model iteration cycles.
- • Share insights from organizations where data and experimentation are central to product development and operational culture.
- • Participate in quarterly board meetings and engage in occasional strategic discussions with the CEO and leadership team.
- • Do not engage in day-to-day operations or executive management responsibilities.
- • Focus on organizational structures that enable continuous improvement of ML systems and foster data-driven product cultures.
- • Bring experience in building high-quality data platforms that support large-scale, real-time, and automated ML-driven product environments.
- • Offer independent, constructive challenge to assumptions around data strategy, team composition, and technical roadmap.
- • Leverage background in operating ML-driven product organizations where data science is core to revenue generation and product performance.
- • Align with Appodeal’s values of continuous learning, impact, solving complex challenges, and enjoying the journey.
- • Commit approximately four weeks per year to board-related activities, including preparation, meetings, and strategic consultations.
