  • • As an Independent Sales Agent for eHealthInsurance Services, Inc., you will play a critical role in helping consumers navigate complex health insurance decisions, directly impacting their access to quality care and financial security. This 1099 contract position empowers experienced agents to leverage their expertise in a supportive, mission-driven environment where integrity and customer focus are paramount.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to inbound telephonic Medicare leads generated by eHealth’s compliant marketing campaigns, conducting needs-based consultations to recommend appropriate health insurance plans (including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D), accurately documenting interactions in eHealth’s CRM system, following up on pipelined leads via manual outbound calls when necessary, maintaining compliance with CMS and TCPA regulations, and managing multiple software applications simultaneously during customer interactions.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Must maintain U.S. residency and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • • Minimum 12 months of proven Medicare Insurance Sales experience as an independent agent, OR at least 24 months of experience selling ACA, Final Expense, Annuities, or Life Insurance products.
  • • Current AHIP Certification for 2026 is required.
  • • Must hold a minimum of 5 active health insurance licenses prior to contracting, with the ability to obtain 10–15 licenses before taking calls.
  • • Must carry personal Errors and Omissions (E&O) insurance coverage.
  • • Must own a device meeting technical specifications: Windows 11 22H2 or later (or macOS Sonoma 14.7.2 or later), minimum 8GB RAM (16GB recommended), Intel Pentium 4/SSE3-capable processor or equivalent, and 20GB of available disk storage.
  • • Must agree to undergo background checks, including lifetime criminal and credit history reviews, as a condition of contracting.
