- • As the Indonesia Brand Marketing Manager at Thatgamecompany, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the brand’s presence and community engagement across Indonesia, one of the most dynamic gaming markets in Southeast Asia. Your work will directly influence how players in the region connect with Sky: Children of the Light, ensuring culturally resonant marketing strategies that align with the company’s mission of creating meaningful, emotionally enriching experiences.
- • You will serve as the primary bridge between Thatgamecompany’s global vision and local market execution, driving initiatives that deepen player loyalty, expand community reach, and strengthen partnerships with Indonesian publishers, creators, and influencers—making your role essential to sustainable growth in a key international territory.
- • Plan, execute, and manage localized marketing campaigns across digital and social platforms, tailoring global assets to reflect Indonesian cultural nuances, seasonal events, and player preferences while ensuring brand consistency and messaging integrity.
- • Act as the central liaison between Thatgamecompany and Indonesia-based publishing partners, coordinating timelines, approvals, and feedback loops to ensure seamless execution of regional initiatives and alignment on go-to-market strategies.
- • Identify, nurture, and maintain long-term relationships with local content creators, influencers, and community leaders, developing collaborative campaigns that authentically engage the Sky player base and amplify organic reach through trusted voices.
- • Leverage data-driven methodologies to monitor campaign performance, analyze engagement metrics, and optimize KPIs such as reach, conversion, retention, and sentiment, using insights to refine future marketing efforts and demonstrate ROI.
- • Support the planning and execution of live and virtual events hosted by Thatgamecompany in Indonesia, including community meetups, influencer gatherings, and promotional activations, ensuring logistical smoothness and brand-aligned experiences.
- • Serve as the voice of the Indonesia community by actively monitoring forums, social channels, and in-game feedback, synthesizing player insights into actionable recommendations for product, marketing, and support teams to enhance player satisfaction and retention.
- • Collaborate closely with global marketing, community, and product teams to ensure Indonesia-specific learnings are shared and integrated into broader strategies, fostering a two-way flow of knowledge that strengthens the game’s global relevance.
- • Champion Thatgamecompany’s core values—creativity, empathy, and wonder—within all local initiatives, ensuring that every touchpoint reflects the studio’s commitment to meaningful player experiences rather than transactional engagement.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of professional experience in marketing, community management, or a related field, with proven ability to plan and execute campaigns in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- • Native fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and strong bilingual proficiency in English (preferred) or Chinese, enabling effective communication with local stakeholders and global teams.
- • Demonstrated experience working within the Southeast Asia or Indonesia gaming industry, including familiarity with local player behaviors, platform preferences, and cultural trends in digital entertainment.
- • Deep understanding and personal alignment with Thatgamecompany’s core values and vision, particularly its focus on emotional connection, inclusivity, and artistic integrity in game design and community engagement.
- • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills, with a track record of building trust and long-term partnerships with creators, influencers, publishers, and cross-functional teams.
