- • As an Indonesian Interpreter at LanguageLine Solutions, you will play a vital role in breaking down language and cultural barriers for limited-English speakers and the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing across critical sectors such as healthcare, government, 911, education, and business.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include handling on-demand phone calls, providing accurate and professional interpretation between Indonesian and English speakers, maintaining cultural sensitivity, and adhering to strict interpretation protocols in high-stakes environments like medical emergencies or legal proceedings.
- • You will join a certified Great Place to Work organization that values diversity and inclusion, offering remote work flexibility with support from Senior Language Specialists and dedicated technology and interpreter help desks.

🎯 Requirements
- • Fluency in Indonesian and English, including understanding of cultural dynamics and regional accent differences.
- • Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to ensure high accuracy during interpretation sessions.
- • Ability to remain neutral, objective, and calm during emotionally charged or stressful calls, including 911 emergencies and end-of-life conversations.
- • Must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship, and possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- • Access to a dedicated personal device (Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS, iPadOS, or Android) and a high-speed internet connection (minimum 5 Mbps download, 3 Mbps upload) in a quiet, distraction-free workspace.
