- • Join Qodeworld's esteemed client, a leading Utilities Company, as an Industrial Control Systems Analyst, contributing to critical energy supply operations.
- • This is a contract role, scheduled from March 2026 to December 2026, offering a competitive hourly rate of $64 - $66.
- • The position is based in Tampa, FL, with an initial two-week period requiring 100% on-site presence. Following this intensive onboarding, the role transitions to a hybrid model, with four days on-site and one day of remote work per week, providing a balanced work environment.
- • As an Industrial Control Systems Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Energy Supply Solar and Battery applications, ensuring the seamless operation and optimization of these vital systems.
- • Your primary focus will be on developing and enhancing SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, specifically leveraging the capabilities of Ignition Perspective v8.1.
- • You will be instrumental in creating sophisticated web-based and mobile-responsive HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces) using Ignition Perspective, designed to provide intuitive and efficient control and monitoring for our energy infrastructure.
- • This role demands a deep understanding of industrial automation and control systems, with a strong emphasis on programming and configuration.
- • You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications built on Ignition Perspective v8.1, a cutting-edge platform for industrial visualization and control.
- • In addition to Ignition, your expertise will extend to Canary Axiom, where you will be proficient in developing insightful dashboards that provide real-time operational intelligence.
- • You will also work extensively with Aveva OSIsoft PI, a leading data historian solution. Your responsibilities will include utilizing PI Asset Framework for structuring and managing asset data, PI Point Builder for efficient data point configuration, and PI Vision for advanced data visualization and analysis.
- • A significant part of your contribution will involve programming Rockwell Allen Bradley PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers). This includes developing and troubleshooting code in ladder logic, function block diagrams, and structured text, ensuring the reliable execution of control strategies.
- • You will also be involved in the development and integration of other relevant industrial control systems and software as needed, demonstrating adaptability and a broad technical skillset.
- • The role requires proficiency in T-SQL for database querying and manipulation, enabling you to extract and analyze operational data effectively.
- • Furthermore, you will utilize Azure DevOps for version control, collaboration, and managing the software development lifecycle, ensuring efficient and organized project execution.
