  • • As the Industry Field Marketing Manager for Greater China, you will be the driving force behind our end-to-end field marketing strategy, meticulously crafting and executing programs designed to generate high-quality leads, build significant sales pipeline, and directly contribute to revenue growth within priority industries across the region.
  • • You will operate as a dedicated regional marketing owner, fostering deep, collaborative partnerships with key cross-functional teams including Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Sales Development, Communications, and external agency resources to ensure the seamless execution of scalable, insight-driven marketing initiatives.
  • • Your core responsibility will be to architect and lead the Greater China industry marketing strategy, taking full ownership of field marketing programs that specifically support our most critical verticals throughout the region.
  • • You will be instrumental in driving measurable impact across the entire sales funnel, from initial pipeline creation and deal acceleration to customer acquisition, expansion within existing accounts, and fostering long-term engagement within your designated industry segments.
  • • Cultivating robust, trusted partnerships with Industry Sales, Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), and Solutions Architecture teams will be paramount. This includes co-developing tailored vertical Go-To-Market (GTM) plans with sales leadership and ensuring rigorous follow-through on pipeline development and progression.
  • • You will collaborate closely with the APAC Demand Generation and Product Marketing teams to refine industry-specific targeting, segmentation strategies, and core messaging. This involves scoping, producing, and expertly localizing compelling content and integrated campaigns that resonate with executive buyers, technical stakeholders, and line-of-business leaders.
  • • Your role will encompass the design and execution of comprehensive full-funnel industry marketing motions. This includes a diverse range of activities such as targeted digital campaigns, innovative content-led programs, sophisticated Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives, exclusive executive roundtables, informative webinars, participation in key industry forums, strategic engagement with third-party conferences, and the meticulous planning and execution of curated in-person field events.
  • • A critical aspect of your role will be translating Stripe’s powerful platform capabilities—encompassing payments, robust financial infrastructure, flexible APIs, and a rich ecosystem of partnerships—into differentiated, industry-relevant value propositions. These must be tightly aligned with sector-specific trends, unique challenges, and evolving regulatory landscapes within Greater China.
  • • You will be tasked with developing and nurturing strategic industry ecosystems. This involves building strong relationships with key partners, industry associations, influential media platforms, and complementary solution collaborators to significantly expand Stripe’s reach and enhance our influence within target verticals.
  • • Rigorous tracking, in-depth analysis, and clear communication of program performance will be essential. You will continuously optimize programs for maximum efficiency, scalability, and revenue impact, while actively contributing your learnings and best practices to the broader APAC and global industry marketing playbooks.
  • • You are expected to bring a sharp market insight to the team, proactively identifying emerging industry trends, understanding competitive dynamics, and uncovering whitespace opportunities. This will enable you to effectively position Stripe as the preeminent financial infrastructure partner within key verticals.
  • • This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate complex business needs into actionable marketing plans, execute with precision, and adapt to the dynamic market conditions of Greater China, all while based in Singapore and managing remote responsibilities for the region.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 8+ years of relevant B2B marketing experience, with a strong focus on industry marketing, field marketing, Account-Based Marketing (ABM), or demand generation, including a minimum of 5 years specifically focused on the Greater China market.
  • • Proven track record of successfully marketing to enterprise or mid-market customers within defined industry verticals such as technology, internet, SaaS, fintech, retail, manufacturing, or cross-border commerce.
  • • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage regional B2B industry marketing strategies in China that consistently deliver against full-funnel metrics, including pipeline creation, acceleration, and expansion.
  • • Hands-on experience in developing industry-specific content, executing executive engagement programs, managing vertical events, building ecosystem partnerships, and orchestrating multi-touch marketing campaigns.
  • • Native or fluent Mandarin language proficiency is required; strong English proficiency is highly preferred due to the nature of cross-regional collaboration and global team interaction.
  • • Exceptional cross-functional leadership and collaboration skills, with a proven history of working effectively with Industry Sales, SDRs, Solutions Architecture, and other regional stakeholders through joint planning and disciplined execution.
  • • Experience operating as a dedicated regional marketing owner while simultaneously partnering with centralized APAC Demand Generation and Product Marketing teams, adeptly leveraging shared resources to scale vertical programs effectively.
  • • Solid understanding of CRM systems, funnel reporting methodologies, and data-driven marketing execution. Familiarity with ABM frameworks and enterprise buying motions is essential.
  • • Must be based in Singapore, with the responsibility of marketing to Greater China industries remotely, and be willing to travel as needed to support regional activities.
