📋 Description
- • The Industry Partnerships Associate, LAUNCH role is critical to expanding equitable pathways to economic mobility through education, workforce development, and apprenticeship by supporting the HRTP grant and strengthening apprenticeship ecosystems for historically underserved populations in California.
- • Day to day, the associate leads targeted outreach and engagement with Inland Empire employers in advanced manufacturing, cybersecurity, and clean economy sectors; supports development and implementation of registered apprenticeship programs including employer onboarding and alignment with DAS/DOL frameworks; develops outreach materials and presentations; and provides technical assistance to employers, educational institutions, workforce boards, and community-based organizations to increase understanding and adoption of apprenticeship models.
- • The Foundation for California Community Colleges (FoundationCCC) blends the impact of a non-profit, the culture of an entrepreneurial start-up, and the scale of a state agency, committed to professional development with an emphasis on shared leadership to ensure growth for employees and the organization while benefiting, supporting, and enhancing the California Community Colleges system.
- • In this role, the person can learn and achieve deep expertise in registered apprenticeship systems, workforce development policy, employer partnership strategy, and program implementation while contributing to scalable, equitable economic mobility initiatives across California’s largest higher education system.
🎯 Requirements
- • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- • 3 years of experience preferred in workforce development, employer engagement, education partnerships, nonprofit programs, or related field.
- • Knowledge of workforce development systems, including registered apprenticeship models and basic understanding of DAS/DOL apprenticeship processes (or ability to quickly learn).
- • Familiarity with employer engagement, outreach strategies, or partnership development within education or workforce development settings.
