Information Security Analyst II

📋 Description

• • Join CSG Enterprise Security team as an Information Security Analyst II and play a hands-on role in defending the enterprise against real-world threats. This position is critical to maintaining the organization’s security posture by actively monitoring, analyzing, and responding to cyber threats across a modern security operations environment.
• • Day to day, you will monitor and investigate alerts across SIEM, XDR, IDS/IPS, and email security tools; own incident response end-to-end including triage, containment, root cause analysis, and reporting; run hypothesis-based threat hunts using TTPs, IOCs, and behavioral patterns; build and tune detections using MITRE ATT&CK; enhance SIEM dashboards and SOAR automations; analyze network traffic and packet captures; investigate phishing attempts; onboard and validate log sources; and participate in purple teaming exercises to validate defenses.
