📋 Description

• Serve as the first point of contact for all information security and data protection inquiries across the business.
• Support GDPR-related activities including handling data subject access requests and managing data subject rights.
• Assist in conducting data protection impact assessments and legitimate interest assessments.
• Help maintain and update the company’s Information Security Management System (ISMS).
• Facilitate information security risk assessments across departments and teams.
• Advise internal teams on the appropriate and compliant use of personal data.
• Support governance processes related to information security and data protection.
• Monitor and track regulatory developments, including GDPR and DORA, to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Promote awareness and understanding of information security and data protection practices throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security and privacy principles into daily operations.
• Document and report on compliance activities and control effectiveness.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and controls related to data protection and information security.
• Participate in internal audits and prepare documentation for external assessments.
• Learn and apply technical concepts in a real business context with structured support and training provided.
• Work closely with the Head of Information Security and Data Protection Officer to develop expertise in cybersecurity, privacy, and operational resilience.
• Take initiative in identifying gaps or risks in current practices and propose actionable improvements.
• Engage with colleagues from diverse backgrounds to build relationships and drive cultural adoption of security best practices.
• Adapt quickly to evolving priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with minimal top-down direction.
• Embrace ambiguity and uncertainty inherent in scaling a rapidly growing fintech company.

• Salary between £32,000 and £40,000, reviewed annually
