đź“‹ Description

  • • As an Information Security Engineer at Deel, you will serve as a technical leader in designing, implementing, and optimizing core security platforms to protect sensitive data across a global, remote-first environment. Your work will directly support Deel’s mission to enable secure, compliant, and scalable global work by strengthening defense-in-depth capabilities and ensuring adherence to international regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, and SOC.
  • • You will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), optimizing configurations and policies, developing custom threat detection rules, and improving security posture for Mac and Windows endpoints and cloud assets. This includes managing SWG, CASB, and ZTNA policies, troubleshooting end-user issues, and ensuring seamless secure access for remote colleagues.
  • • You will continuously enhance SaaS security posture using SSPM tools, collaborate with application owners to resolve configuration drifts, and design rigorous review and auditing processes for browser extensions and third-party OAuth applications (e.g., Google Workspace, GitHub, Jira) to meet security and privacy standards.
  • • You will design, implement, and audit enterprise browser security policies (e.g., Island, Chrome Enterprise), including DLP configuration, ZTNA, and secure web browsing controls, while managing DLP policies across endpoints, networks, SaaS applications, and cloud assets to comply with data sovereignty and privacy regulations.
  • • You will lead vulnerability management programs for endpoints and servers, ensuring timely patching in collaboration with stakeholders, and contribute to the "Crawl-Walk-Run" phased rollout of security initiatives.
  • • You will utilize cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) to host security tooling, leverage SIEM for telemetry analysis, and support secure email gateway initiatives as a plus, all while maintaining excellent verbal and written English communication.
  • • You will join a globally distributed team of 7,000+ across 100+ countries, speaking 74 languages, within a culture that drives continuous learning, innovation, and inclusion. Deel’s rapid growth—backed by a $17.3B valuation and $1B ARR—offers unparalleled opportunity to impact millions of workers’ lives while building expertise in securing a SaaS leader transforming the future of work.
  • • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise security architectures, gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools (EDR, SWG, CASB, ZTNA, DLP, SSPM), and become a trusted advisor in aligning security with business enablement. You will achieve measurable impact by reducing risk, ensuring compliance, and enabling secure global operations at scale.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity
  • • Hands-on experience with security tools including EDR, SWG, CASB, ZTNA, and DLP
  • • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices such as MITRE, NIST, CIS, ISO27001, and SOC
  • • Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders to roll out enterprise security solutions
  • • Understanding and ability to utilize cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) to host security tooling
  • • Experience using SIEM to query security telemetry is a plus
  • • Experience managing secure email gateway is a plus
  • • Excellent English in both verbal and written communication
  • • CISSP certification is advantageous
