Full Job Description

📋 Description

  • Andromeda Technologies Inc. is at the forefront of revolutionizing AI infrastructure, making scaled compute resources accessible to early-stage startups and leading AI labs. Founded by industry veterans Nat Friedman and Daniel Gross, our mission is to build the liquidity layer for global AI compute. We started with a single managed cluster that was immediately in high demand, prompting us to quietly build the sophisticated systems, network, and orchestration layer that underpins the world's AI infrastructure. Today, we are a vital partner to AI labs, data centers, and cloud providers, delivering compute power precisely when and where it's needed most. Our innovative platform intelligently routes training and inference jobs across a global supply network, unlocking unparalleled flexibility and efficiency in one of the most rapidly expanding markets. As we continue to expand our horizons, we are actively seeking the brightest minds in AI infrastructure, research, and engineering to join our dynamic team.
  • The opportunity at hand is for a highly motivated Infrastructure Manager to play a pivotal role in accelerating the matching of supply and demand on our cutting-edge platform. This is an Individual Contributor role, reporting directly to the Head of Capacity. The Capacity team is the operational heart of our infrastructure, responsible for the acquisition and facilitation of compute resources across the entire organization. We operate at the critical intersection of compute providers, sales teams, and technical experts, ensuring that our compute supply seamlessly aligns with customer demand. We have already established a robust foundational layer of capacity through our existing provider network. Now, as we enter a significant scaling phase, we are focused on building the next tier of our operations: expanding our network and liquidity, deepening the scope of our services, and aggressively accelerating our growth trajectory.
  • In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing our compute resources. Your core responsibilities will include expertly matching incoming leads generated by our sales team with both our internal compute capacity and external market availability. A key objective will be to maximize the utilization of our existing compute resources, ensuring efficiency and profitability. You will actively source and onboard new compute suppliers from across the globe, broadening our reach and capabilities. Furthermore, you will proactively identify and secure compute capacity based on evolving customer needs and dynamic market trends, staying ahead of the curve.
  • A significant aspect of this role involves adeptly solving complex customer and supplier problems within a fast-moving, highly dynamic market environment. You will develop a deep understanding of the technical and commercial nuances that differentiate our suppliers, enabling you to optimize our capacity acquisition funnel for maximum effectiveness. By leveraging market intelligence, you will contribute to the development of a proactive compute strategy that anticipates future needs and opportunities. You will also be responsible for negotiating favorable costs with suppliers and other vendors, ensuring competitive pricing and strong partnerships. Crucially, you will create and implement robust processes around capacity planning, ensuring scalability and reliability as we grow.
  • This position offers a unique chance to make a substantial impact. You will be part of a critical team that directly unlocks revenue for the wider company, dealing with real business challenges, complex transactions, and delivering tangible results. You will thrive in a high-growth environment, getting in on the ground floor of a company operating in a massive and rapidly expanding market. The role offers significant ownership, with a direct line to leadership and the opportunity to influence how we scale our operations. We provide competitive compensation, including meaningful equity, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support you and your dependents. This includes healthcare, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, and unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO). Andromeda Technologies Inc. is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, ensuring a welcoming environment for all employees.
