  • • The Innovation, Customer Experience and Direct Sales Communications Manager at Allstate plays a pivotal role in shaping how the company communicates its innovative initiatives and customer-centric values to internal and external audiences. This role is critical in translating complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives that build trust, reinforce brand reputation, and support enterprise-wide growth strategies.
  • • The person will lead the development and execution of integrated communication programs that align with Allstate’s strategic priorities, including product launches, cultural transformation, and purpose-driven storytelling, ensuring consistency and impact across all channels.
  • • Day to day, the manager will shape integrated communication strategies by translating research, data, and external trends into bold, actionable recommendations that enhance reputation and stakeholder advocacy.
  • • They will champion Allstate’s purpose-driven culture by leading communications that model adaptability, inspire change, and foster optimism during organizational transitions.
  • • The role involves owning complex communication initiatives from conception to delivery, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to manage competing priorities and ensure timely, aligned execution.

  • • As a trusted strategic advisor, they will provide communication counsel to senior leaders, influence decision-making, and serve as a connector between teams and external partners.
  • • The manager will lead the planning and execution of high-impact meetings and events, ensuring experiences reflect Allstate’s brand standards and strategic messaging.
  • • They will partner with the enterprise PR team on owned, earned, and paid media content, while proactively identifying and mitigating reputational risks in coordination with the Issues Management team.
  • • As needed, they will support resource allocation and budget management, including forecasting and vendor relationship oversight, to ensure alignment with communications goals and corporate policies.
  • • The role is based within Allstate’s enterprise communications function, working closely with leaders across product, marketing, technology, and operations to support key growth initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 10 or more years of experience in communications, public relations, or a related strategic role
  • • Proven ability to influence and advise senior leaders on strategic priorities through executive-level consulting and partnership
  • • Demonstrated expertise in leading complex communication programs with measurable outcomes and strong cross-functional alignment
  • • Skilled in building relationships and driving connectivity across diverse teams and business units
  • • Strong capability to translate data, insights, and engagement metrics into actionable communication strategies
  • • Proven strength in navigating organizational change, leading through transformation, and advancing cultural initiatives
