- • As an Inside Sales Diagnostic Specialist at IDEXX Laboratories, Inc., you will be at the forefront of driving revenue growth for our Rapid Assay, Chemistry, and Fecal diagnostic businesses. This is a pivotal role focused on engaging with customers primarily through phone, email, and virtual communication channels, with the ultimate goal of prospecting, qualifying leads, and successfully closing sales.
- • You will play a crucial role in collaborating with our field-based Veterinary Diagnostic Consultants (VDCs) within your assigned geography. This partnership will involve agreeing on and prioritizing key opportunities to generate significant revenue. Your focus will be on driving adoption, increasing utilization, and facilitating the conversion of specific products within the extensive IDEXX portfolio.
- • A core aspect of your responsibility will be to cultivate and maintain strong, lasting relationships with our customers. This involves deeply understanding their unique needs, challenges, and business objectives. By leveraging this insight, you will be empowered to present highly tailored solutions that directly address their requirements and contribute to their business growth, as well as IDEXX's.
- • You will operate as a key connector within the broader commercial ecosystem at IDEXX. - • Your day-to-day activities will be dynamic and multifaceted, encompassing the strategic use of sales tools to maintain a robust and healthy pipeline of sales opportunities. This will be conducted within a high-volume outbound calling and email environment, demanding efficiency and effectiveness.
- • You will actively engage with VDCs in aligned territories, working collaboratively to define and prioritize customer opportunities, develop comprehensive customer development plans, and determine the most appropriate and impactful next steps for each engagement.
- • You will take the lead in driving sales conversations for IDEXX Rapid Assay, Chemistry, and Fecal products within your designated territory. This encompasses the entire sales cycle: identifying opportunities, gaining customer agreement, expertly closing sales, and ensuring successful product adoption through consistent and proactive customer engagement.
- • A key responsibility is to develop, implement, and diligently maintain a steady stream of qualified leads for the IDEXX field sales ecosystem within your assigned territory, ensuring a continuous flow of potential business.
- • You will foster strong collaboration with the Companion Animal Group (CAG) Commercial field team. This partnership is essential for ensuring the successful adoption and utilization of IDEXX products and services, and you will be instrumental in delivering relevant customer training and educational content to achieve overarching sales goals.
- • Success in this role is defined by your consistent achievement of quarterly and annual sales quotas, demonstrating your ability to perform at a high level under pressure.
