- • As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and expanding our vital relationships within the travel agency, wholesale, onboard, and international sales channels. This position is instrumental in providing exceptional support and service to our valued travel advisors, acting as their primary point of contact for a wide array of sales and service needs. Your dedication to excellence will directly contribute to the seamless operation of our sales network and the continued success of our expedition offerings.
- • Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of crucial administrative and support functions. You will be the go-to resource for travel agencies, wholesalers, and international travel partners, ensuring they have the information and assistance required to effectively promote and sell Lindblad Expeditions. This includes providing comprehensive inbound and outbound phone and email support, guiding travel advisors through sales inquiries for new bookings, assisting with existing reservations, and resolving customer service issues with efficiency and professionalism.
- • A key aspect of your role will involve equipping our partners with the necessary tools for success. You will be responsible for providing travel advisors with promotional materials and collateral as requested, ensuring they have compelling resources to engage their clients. Furthermore, you will expertly handle travel advisor escalations, acting as a crucial liaison between our partners and internal departments to ensure swift and satisfactory resolution of any complex issues.
- • Financial clarity and support are also integral to this position. You will provide essential commission reconciliation support, ensuring our partners are accurately compensated. Your meticulous record-keeping will be paramount, as you will manage records, cases, and all communication within Salesforce, meticulously documenting interactions with new and existing advisors and agencies. This ensures a centralized and accessible history of our B2B relationships.
- • Beyond administrative tasks, you will contribute to the professional development of our partners by assisting with all travel advisor educational travel requests. Maintaining and updating our critical travel agency database within Salesforce, Seaware, and our dedicated advisor training platform will be a core duty, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for strategic decision-making.
- • You will also provide vital administrative support to the broader sales department, including the timely submission of client invoices. Your consistently friendly and outgoing disposition will be instrumental in strengthening our relationships with all B2B partners, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Depending on workload and business needs, you may also attend industry events, representing Lindblad Expeditions and further solidifying our presence in the market. This role is dynamic and requires adaptability, with other duties as required to support the sales team's overarching objectives.
