- • As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, responsible for initiating and nurturing sales processes via phone, email, and other electronic channels. Your primary objective will be to generate new sales opportunities and drive profitable growth by consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
- • You will play a crucial role in managing the entire sales cycle for inbound and outbound leads. This includes meticulously overseeing customer order and quotation requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses, and acting as a primary point of contact for clients.
- • A key responsibility involves prospecting for new sales opportunities through strategic outbound calling and targeted email campaigns. You will identify potential clients, understand their needs, and present HD Supply's comprehensive range of products and solutions.
- • You will facilitate the sales process by effectively managing projects, diligently tracking open sales orders, and proactively resolving any issues that may arise. Your commitment to exceptional customer service and support will be paramount in building lasting partnerships.
- • Pricing and proposal development are integral to this role. You will leverage pricing matrices and other resources to determine appropriate product pricing, develop code directives for specific products, and maintain target margin goals. Performing estimating and take-off duties will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring accurate and competitive proposals.
- • This position requires a high degree of independence and accountability. You will be expected to be a self-starter, capable of managing your workload effectively and driving results in a remote or hybrid work environment.
- • Collaboration with outside salespersons will be essential. You will support their efforts by managing incoming leads, providing necessary information, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from initial contact to order fulfillment.
- • You will be empowered to make informed decisions within well-defined policies and procedures, exercising sound judgment in handling customer inquiries and sales-related tasks. While complex issues will be referred to a supervisor, your ability to independently manage day-to-day responsibilities will be key.
- • The role offers a comfortable indoor work environment, with minimal exposure to unpleasant conditions. While primarily sedentary, there will be opportunities to move about, and the physical demands are generally light, involving occasional movement or lifting of light articles.
