- • Facilitate the sales process by generating new sales opportunities and upselling products via outbound phone calls, email, and electronic communication.
- • Prospect for new business through targeted outbound calling and emailing campaigns to expand customer base and drive revenue growth.
- • Respond to customer order and quotation requests received via telephone, email, fax, and written correspondence from outside sales representatives.
- • Provide accurate product pricing by consulting pricing matrices and internal resources to ensure margin compliance and competitive positioning.
- • Develop code directives for specific products while maintaining target profit margins and company pricing standards.
- • Perform estimating, take-off, and proposal preparation duties as required to support customer sales initiatives.
- • Manage and track open sales orders, resolve customer issues, and deliver consistent customer service and support throughout the sales cycle.
- • Maintain accurate records and updates in Salesforce or similar CRM systems to ensure proper pipeline management and reporting.
- • Utilize MS Excel for data analysis, reporting, and sales tracking tasks to support quota attainment and performance monitoring.
- • Operate independently as a self-starter with strong accountability, meeting or exceeding assigned sales quotas in a remote/hybrid environment.
- • Demonstrate professional phone etiquette and strong organizational skills when managing high-volume outbound communications.
- • Refer complex or unusual customer issues to supervisors while adhering to established policies, procedures, and technical guidelines.
- • Work under general supervision with output regularly reviewed by senior team members or supervisors to ensure quality and compliance.
- • Maintain a comfortable indoor work environment with minimal physical demands; most time is spent sitting with frequent opportunity to move.
- • Travel is required less than 10% of the time, primarily for occasional in-office presence or team meetings.
- • Must be located within a comfortable driving distance of one of the designated HD Supply facilities: New Braunfels, TX or Jacksonville, FL.
- • Collaborate with outside sales teams to align on customer needs, order fulfillment, and account management strategies.
- • Contribute to profitable growth by consistently achieving or surpassing individual sales targets in a remote or hybrid role.
- • Apply consultative selling or solution-selling techniques to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of sales or sales support experience
- • Experience in a B2B sales environment
- • Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce (or similar CRM)
- • Comfortable working in an outbound phone call environment
- • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a remote/hybrid position
- • High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred
