• • The Solana Foundation is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Lead Solutions Architect to spearhead institutional adoption and define the technical strategy for the Solana ecosystem. This pivotal role requires an individual who can operate at the highest technical and executive levels, serving as the primary technical authority for institutional-grade infrastructure providers and engaging directly with Chief Technology Officers (CTOs) and Chief Architects at major financial institutions. Your mission will be to establish Solana as the premier blockchain choice for institutional use cases, driving innovation and trust through deep technical expertise and strategic business development.
• • In this capacity, you will be instrumental in forging critical partnerships and influencing the direction of institutional adoption. This involves going toe-to-toe with senior technical leaders at tier-1 institutions, building credibility, and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. You will be the technical counterpart, adept at translating complex blockchain technology into tangible business value and addressing the stringent requirements of traditional finance.
• • A core aspect of your role will be to drive the development and adoption of institutional standards within the Solana ecosystem. This includes identifying needs, creating (or coordinating the creation of) solutions, and championing best practices for areas such as the tokenization of diverse asset types, institutional trading infrastructure, robust compliance tooling, and secure institutional custody architectures. Your work will directly contribute to building the foundational elements necessary for large-scale financial operations on Solana.
• • Cultivating and nurturing deep technical relationships with key players in the institutional finance landscape will be paramount. This includes custodians, tokenization engines, exchanges, prime brokers, and asset managers. You will need to skillfully navigate complex organizational structures, identify and build champion networks within these organizations, and influence decision-making processes across multiple stakeholders to ensure successful integration and adoption.

This involves designing reference architectures that meet institutional demands, developing comprehensive, institutional-grade documentation, and creating compelling Return on Investment (ROI) models specifically tailored for institutional decision-makers. You will work closely with the business development team to understand and navigate the intricacies of 6-18 month sales cycles and the rigorous institutional procurement processes.
