- • We are seeking a dynamic and driven Institutional Sales Associate to spearhead the growth of our institutional business within the vibrant APAC region. This pivotal role is designed for an individual who can expertly manage high-value institutional accounts, cultivate long-term revenue streams, and consistently deliver an exceptional client experience.
- • You will operate at the exciting nexus of traditional finance and cutting-edge decentralized technology. Your primary responsibility will be to champion our comprehensive suite of institutional financial services, including Over-The-Counter (OTC) Spot trading, sophisticated Options and Derivatives strategies, and bespoke Market Making solutions. Success in this role demands a potent combination of relentless business development acumen, a profound interest in and understanding of the cryptocurrency landscape and its institutional adoption, and the sophisticated ability to manage complex, high-stakes institutional relationships.
- • **Business Development & Pipeline Management:**
- • Proactively identify, engage, and onboard a diverse range of institutional prospects across the APAC markets. This includes, but is not limited to, sophisticated hedge funds, influential family offices, venture capital firms, and high-frequency trading entities.
- • Master the entire sales lifecycle, from initiating cold outreach and meticulously qualifying leads to guiding clients through the rigorous KYC/onboarding processes and ensuring the seamless execution of their first trade.
- • Maintain an exceptionally high volume of proactive outreach and diligent follow-up, embodying a “no-hesitation” approach to business development and pipeline nurturing.
- • **Product & Ecosystem Mastery:**
- • Articulate with clarity and conviction the compelling value proposition of Blockchain.com’s institutional product suite. This encompasses deep expertise in OTC Spot liquidity, advanced Options/Derivatives trading strategies, and tailored Market Making services, alongside a comprehensive understanding of all other offerings available from Blockchain.com.
- • Remain at the vanguard of market trends, continuously monitoring and analyzing shifts in the regulatory landscape, particularly within the Korean market, and staying abreast of emerging blockchain protocols and their potential impact on institutional finance.
- • **Relationship Management & Internal Synergy:**
- • Serve as the dedicated, primary point of contact for all clients you successfully onboard. Your commitment will be to provide white-glove service, ensuring prompt and effective communication and rapid response times to all client inquiries and needs.
- • Foster a strong collaborative relationship with the internal Trading Desk. This involves effectively communicating crucial market color and insights to ensure the most seamless and efficient trade execution for your institutional clients.
- • Partner closely with the Legal and Compliance teams to expertly navigate the intricate and specific onboarding requirements and regulatory frameworks governing Korean institutional entities, ensuring a smooth and compliant client integration process.
