- • As an Instructional Designer and Developer at Motorola Solutions, you will play a key role in creating engaging, effective learning experiences that empower employees, partners, and customers to safely and confidently use the company’s technologies and products.
- • Day to day, you will perform needs analysis, design and develop instructor-led training materials such as instructor guides, student workbooks, PowerPoint presentations, and online modules, write technical instructional content, integrate multimedia and assessments, leverage AI tools like Google Gemini and NotebookLM for content efficiency, manage training assets in the LMS, collaborate with subject matter experts, and work with project managers and team leads to ensure training relevance and accuracy.
- • You will join the Global Education team, a close-knit, mission-driven group dedicated to building personalized, engaging, and relevant learning experiences that support safer communities through better-trained users of Motorola Solutions’ safety technologies.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and AI-assisted content creation, while gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard publishing tools and LMS platforms, positioning you for growth in learning and development within a global technology leader.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 1+ year of related experience in instructional design, training development, or a similar role
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
- • Experience or interest in using generative AI tools (e.g., Google Gemini, NotebookLM) for training content development
- • Background in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications
- • Knowledge of ILT design models, adult learning principles, and delivery methods
- • Certification in education, instructional design, instructional technology, or a related field (preferred)
