• • As an Instructional Designer at First American Financial Corporation, you will be instrumental in shaping the learning experiences for our employees, contributing to a culture of continuous growth and development. • • You will be a key player in translating complex information, particularly within the commercial real estate and financial services sectors, into clear, accessible, and impactful learning content. Your work will directly influence employee proficiency, operational efficiency, and overall business success.
• • The core of your responsibility will involve collaborating closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and various stakeholders across the organization. This partnership will be crucial for gathering essential content, thoroughly understanding project requirements, and collectively determining the most effective pedagogical approaches to meet specific learning objectives.
• • You will own the entire lifecycle of training projects, from the initial intake and needs assessment through to the final delivery and post-training evaluation. This includes conducting insightful interviews with SMEs, meticulously crafting detailed storyboards, building polished, production-ready learning solutions using industry-standard tools, and actively soliciting and integrating feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
• • A strong adherence to instructional design best practices will be paramount. You will leverage established models and principles to ensure that all learning solutions are not only effective in achieving their intended goals but are also engaging, intuitive, and user-friendly for the adult learner.
• • A significant aspect of this role involves ensuring that all learning materials are visually clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate. The aesthetic and functional design of the learning assets will directly impact learner engagement and comprehension.
