- • The Instructional Technology Specialist at Penn State Great Valley plays a vital role in advancing online learning by collaborating with faculty and subject matter experts to design, develop, and support high-quality digital courses and workforce development experiences.
- • Day to day, the specialist manages assigned projects from concept to delivery, oversees scope, timelines, and deliverables, and uses technology-enhanced systems—including Canvas, Canvas Catalog, Articulate 360, and Adobe Creative Suite—to create accessible, engaging multimedia content across multiple delivery formats.
- • The role is part of Penn State’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies online learning design team, which focuses on innovative, pedagogically sound learning solutions for credit and noncredit programs.
- • In this position, the individual will deepen expertise in instructional design, educational technology integration, accessibility standards (including Universal Design for Learning), and project management while contributing to process improvements and documentation within a collaborative, mission-driven team.
🎯 Requirements
- • Demonstrated collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
- • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective professional relationships
- • Working knowledge of Canvas and Canvas Catalog
- • Bachelor's Degree
- • 1+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination) for Intermediate level; 3+ years for Advanced level
